Mr. Jon Lovald is the president and executive officer of the General John W. Vessey Jr. Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).  Jon Lovald served in the US Army for 25 years. He retired from the military as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2015. Currently, he is the COO of the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV). His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and Meritorious Service Medal.

Kevin Olson is the Vice President of the Gen. John W. Vessey Jr. AUSA Chapter 5401.  He is the founding partner and CEO of SnowGlobe Public Relations, a Veteran-Owned Small Business. Kevin served 31 years in the U.S. Army, and his last position was a 14-year stretch as the Director of Communications for the Minnesota Army and Air National Guard.  Holding the rank of Colonel, he was the Minnesota National Guard's primary spokesman and strategic communication advisor to three Adjutants General. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.  He was inducted into the Minnesota National Guard Court of Honor in 2022.

Secretary Maggie Fliszar is a Junior at the University of Minnesota, where she is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sociology of Law. Alongside her academic endeavors, she distinguishes herself as a member of the Army Reserve and an active participant in the Golden Gopher Army ROTC Program. Upon completing her college education, Maggie aspires to serve as a Military Intelligence Officer. Driven by her passion for national defense and strategy, she eventually aims to become a National Defense and Strategy Attorney. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new cities and going for long runs.
